In earlier seasons, Elizabeth traditionally wears her hair in signature braids, but as she grows into a young adult, she wears it down, out of braids and styled. Upset with the fact that all of her brothers were enrolled, and scared of losing any of the leading men in her life, she talked Drew out of his compulsive behavior. In the series, Drew and Elizabeth fought when he felt, at a too young age to enlist, he was meant to join the service. Drew later returns to Walton's Mountain to work in the mill, and Elizabeth tells her father that she will eventually marry Drew. They pursue their relationship throughout the rest of the series. She becomes romantically involved with Drew Cutler, Drew and Elizabeth enjoyed their first date when his close friend, and Elizabeth’s initial love interest turned her down and took someone else to a school dance at the Baldwin’s. When beginning her teenage years, Elizabeth is frightened at the thought of growing up, which trigged an episode where a Poltergeist messes with her daily life on Walton’s Mountain, until she finally grows into the idea of growing up. Throughout the show, Elizabeth goes through the trials and errors of early adulthood and teenage years. At the beginning of the series, it shows that Elizabeth is closest to her brother, and youngest of John and Olivia’s son’s, Jim-Bob. She admires her sisters and heeds their advice, as she loves and respects her brothers. ![]() ![]() Elizabeth's other best friends are her siblings. Her friend is Aimee Godsey, her distant cousin and is Ike and Corabeth's Adoptive daughter. She is outspoken, very sensitive, and shares John-Boy's love and talent for reading and writing. Throughout the series, we see her grow from a very young child into a young woman. Elizabeth Tyler Walton (born October 1927), Elizabeth is the youngest daughter of the Walton family.
